This privacy policy explains how Agile Cookies Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data through the Drafted app and website (draftedapp.co.uk). We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Drafted is a product of Agile Cookies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, based in London. We act as the data controller for personal data collected via the app and this website.

What we collect

  • Account details: email address and (optionally) name and trade.
  • Subscription billing data, processed by RevenueCat / Apple / Google. We do not store full card details.
  • Usage data: feature interactions and crash reports, aggregated and anonymous.
  • Content you submit to generate a draft: the messages, notes and details you type into the app.
  • The drafts Drafted generates for you, which we save to your account so you can find them again in your History.

How your drafts are generated and stored

When you ask Drafted to write something, the text you enter is sent to our secure server and on to a third-party AI provider purely to generate your draft and return it to you. The drafts you generate are then saved to your account so you can access them again in your History. We do not sell this content, and it is not used to train AI models. You can delete drafts in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hi@draftedapp.co.uk.

How we use it

We use the data we collect to:

  • Operate the app, the website and your subscription.
  • Generate the drafts you request.
  • Improve product features and fix bugs.
  • Reply to your support enquiries when you contact hi@draftedapp.co.uk.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, account changes).

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal data, customer lists or message content. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data. To exercise any of these, email hi@draftedapp.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses a small number of essential cookies that are necessary to operate the site. We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the website is used. Google Analytics sets cookies and is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner — until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time. The Drafted mobile app does not use Google Analytics.

We may update this policy occasionally. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
